My First Creatin'Contest Kit Purchase
I purchased this charming cabin to make my granddaughter's first 'real' dollhouse. I have to say that the quality is very impressive. All the trim for windows is included and the house is perfectly sized - not too big and not too small. I only had one thing stand out as a negative: the interior trim for the front door was a little crooked near the bottom, but I placed the crooked part beside the kitchen cabinet, so the cabinet covers it up. I pretty much copied the layout of the model built for the last catalog cover. I replaced the larger window in the kitchen area with the attic window (same size as the one shown in the bathroom area) so the kitchen cabinets will fit below the window trim. I have had to sand very little which makes me a very happy camper. My granddaughter has seen the 'work in progress' that is this little house and my ribs are still bruised from her ecstatic hug. She is nine and I think I have created another miniature fanatic.
