Real-life armchair from Town Square Miniatures Platinum Collection!
Town Square Miniatures Platinum Collection represent the pinnacle of style and craftsmanship with this high-quality circa 1660 Dutch Armchair. When replicating a real-life armchair of this period, no detail has been overlooked. This late 17th century Dutch Armchair is elaborately carved. The oval caned back is flanked by turned pilasters, above a square caned seat on ornately carved legs joined by a box stretcher. Cane chairs of this period with high backs were most effective when used against a wall as ornamental pieces since they had a tendency to be uncomfortable. This chair will add a charm of majesty to your dollhouse. This chairs was designed to be used as an accent piece with other miniature furniture, or to be part of a stand-alone collection. Historical facts are included with this chair. The Dutch Armchair is constructed of wood with a beautiful walnut finish.
