Nice Desk
Slightly pricey, but I purchased it on sale. The details are very nice and the roll top on mine opens all the way like in the picture. I'm using it for Santa's office in his workshop and there's lots of room for the letters he receives and for his naughty and nice list. Not much room on the desk top for a lamp (it would have to be small), but it looks nice with a floor lamp next to it. I used the Brass Downbridge Floor Lamp. Would probably also look nice with sconces on either side. I purchased the Swivel Chair to go with it and while it can't be pushed under the desk, it looks fine pulled up to it and turned a little.

Could be better.
Sad to say. the legs are too short. You can not get an armless chair under it.

Short shelves
The shelves are very short, most books I've made from kits or purchased here do not fit. The rolltop works fine on mine and overall is a nice looking desk.

Doesn't Roll Up
Be aware that the roll top does not go up all the way. The one I received only opens half way and from above it doesn't even look open at all. For the money I wasn't expecting perfection, but I did expect a desk that was the same as pictured on their site.
