The finished custom painted sample above shows #2073 Red Authentic Brick Corners and #2071 Red Authentic Bricks in use. Apply the colors randomly to individual bricks. When dry, proceed with the sealing and mortaring process as directed.

Not as pictured; Quality poor
These brick corners are less than pictured, maybe 1/16'' on the inside corner. The other issue is that they are a chalk-like product and do not bond well to a surface. They crack and chip easily and cannot be used in an area that might get bumped, such as an outside wall or chimney. Applying several coats of sealer does not improve the strength either. The only positive is that they have a very nice look (more of a pinkish red, not orange) and cut easily. I would not buy again.

Very Realistic and Beautiful Color
I haven't yet used the "corner" bricks on corners but they are of the same high quality as the regular bricks (item 2071) that I used to build a lovely colonial-looking fireplace. I highly recommend Items 2071 and 2073 to anyone who wants a very realistic looking brick. Before laying the brick, I sprayed them with a matte-coat sealer which brought out beautiful old-looking brick colors. The corner bricks can easily be trimmed (shaved) with a razor blade if you need a regular brick (when building my fireplace, I ran out of regular bricks and had to shave about 30 corner bricks to finish the project).
