Pack your patience
I have built fourteen dollhouses and I always find the punch out style kit to be a challenge. I had many issues with the wood splitting, breaking and the parts barely matching up. Plan to use a lot of glue, a lot of wood putty and extra trim to hide the defects. I would not recommend this kit as a first dollhouse because of the inferiority of the wood. You will become disenchanted! Given my experience, I can tolerate the inferior parts and know from my experience in building dollhouses ways to overcome the issues associated with this kit.

Buttercup Cottage
I adore this little cottage. I'd love to order another one and maybe change it up a little. I have had a problem with the front roof section breaking in half while removing it from the wood sheet, but I was alt to glue it back together. So far so good.
