Great for someone just getting into mini's
I've had so many compliments on my version of the Orchid. I did it in country farm house style and everyone that sees it loves it. It has actually gotten me an order for a house as a gift for Christmas this year. Follow directions precisely and if you don't understand read them over several times with the pieces in front of you. It will eventually made sense. Great project.

Great Cottage
This is another great house for a beginner. There is some sanding to do, and the roof trim is on the delicate side,so be careful when sanding it. Some people leave that part of the trim off completely, but I really love the detail of the roof trim. Ive built one and have another one in the line up to build again. The only challenge I had with it is figuring out the faux double hung windows. What I found is that you just have to follow the directions very literally. Its also very versatile and Ive seen it built as many different things, a Witches house, a Flower Shop, makes a great Christmas house too! The upper floor is a nice size. The house itself is big enough to have fun decorating, but still small enough to make it easy to display.
