This is a nice little washer. The lid opens and it is made of wood. It looks like the real thing. Its durable enough, but I don't think it could take any rough housing. I purchased it with the dryer to make a set. It's an awkard set because unlike a realy washer/dryer combo, this washer is a bit shorter in height than the dryer. See the photo closely.
