Description

These realistic stones in our brown/gray cut stone veneer are handmade of high-density casting plaster. Cast in solid colors so that when trimmed, the edges do not show white, but rather their natural color. They can be easily cut with a craft knife by scoring the surface and snapping at the score. Each bag covers approximately 100 square inches.

To finish the stones shown above follows these instructions. Stones should be glued in place with #1249 Weldbond or your favorite adhesive and allowed to dry. Then the stones should be sealed with a non-yellowing sealer (for example, Delta Ceramcoat satin varnish) and allowed to dry. This helps protect the stone from the slightly abrasive mortar. Apply #2076 Mortar Mix between the stones. Add a top coat of sealer, if desired. Instructions included with stones.

Largest stone: 1" x 1/2"

Life like stone work
My father was a mason. he would be so proud of the "stone work" I did on my miniature house with these lifelike "stones'. The colors in the stone are a perfect match for the Victorian Era house I am making. I highly recommend this product.

Beautifully made...
These stones are very beautiful and I can't wait to make something with them. The texture is lovely and there are so many size variations to choose from. Even though the two packages that I received contained mostly all light colored stones with very few streaks or dark patches, I may have to stain some if I want to make an area as shown in the "completed" picture for this item. I even wet some of the stones to see if that would bring out the darker shades, but it did not. Nonetheless, they are quite striking and should make a very handsome finished project!

Beautiful!
The pavers are beautiful. I found that filing the pieces with an emery board worked better than trying to cut and snap them.
