Vintage washer With Wringer
This is great! Authentic as can be as I had one back in the mid1960S. I got it used from a neighbor and it cost $5.00! I am decorating a custom built home built in 1925, our 2nd purchase-lived there for 25 years and raised 5 children. I decorated it in the 1920s vintage. Perfect choice! But alas, alack, even I got my arm pulled thru' many many times with cloth diapers!

Love this!
Bought this to go with the monitor top refrigerator and the Roper Range. Cap popped off the end of the hose when I took it out of the box but I can make a fix for that.

4-1/2 Star is a more accurate rating...
Nice enamel finish with many realistic details. The one I received came with 2 extra black wheels for the rolling casters. However, it did have a two minor issues... The little grey end cap/hook on the end of the drain hose is missing. The wringer unit (top removable part of the washer) was very floppy (didn't stand up well but rather rested crooked on the top of the tub) and fell off at the slightest movement. HOWEVER, my husband added a 1/4" piece of heat-shrink tubing to the pin that the wringer unit rests on and the wringer unit now sits level without resting on the tub, and swivels the way it should. This was an easy fix and the washer is now almost perfect. I'm glad I have this very nice item to add to my dollhouse!

What will they think of next?
With this washer on the back porch, my next country farmhouse will be a joy on washday. This is a detailed and sturdy machine. Highly recommend.

1920's Maytag wringer washer
This item is perfect in every way. The lid opens and the wringer top moves from side to side, just like a real one would. It has a realistic looking hook up to the water line too.
