A Houseworks innovation has fine-tuned the concept of battery-operated dollhouse lighting! This well designed, high-quality brass/metal fixture has a smaller battery case which unscrews to access a smaller battery. Everything has been made even easier because the base is magnetized! To install, just glue the tiny metal backplate where you want the fixture and the magnet on the light will keep it in place. The magnets are strong enough to hold but light enough to remove to operate the on/off switch or change the battery. No more fumbling with a permanently installed tiny fixture! The 3V lithium battery which is included is replaceable with #2300. The 3V lithium battery will last approximately 50 hours. The LED is not replaceable but will burn for about 4,000 hours and put out much less heat than traditional bulbs.

The Pateley Tiffany Hanging Light is brass with a scalloped plastic shade.

Greenish light
I love the fixture, but the LED light has more of a greenish glow than I like. I'll paint the shade a color to try to counteract it.

Tiffany Light
This is really cute but I had to purchase another one. The wires broke!!. I bought 2 for my kitchen one for over the table and one for over my sink. It may be that these battery operated lights may not be what they seem.

Tiffany Hanging Light
This LED battery operated hanging light is perfect for my dollhouse kitchen. Although it is white I plan on adding colors in red, yellow, orange and ? to mimic a stained glass shade. I'll use either glass paint or use permanent markers. This is a lovely addition!
